Marie Osmond is celebrating her 12th wedding anniversary to husband Steve Craig.
The "Paper Roses" singer took to Instagram on Thursday and shared a sentimental post marking their special day. She also shared why she and Craig chose May 4 as the day to say "I do" back in 2011.
As it turns out, that date is the birthday of her late son Michael and her late mother Olive.
Osmond said she and Craig picked this day "to symbolically have them with us in spirit when we remarried," adding the hashtag "#heavenlybirthdays" in the caption.
The couple had previously been married 1982 to 1985, and she called Craig "the love of my life" in her post.
Osmond's mother died in 2004 and the "Donny & Marie" star's adopted son Michael died by suicide in 2010.
During their first marriage, Osmond and Craig had one child, Stephen. With her second husband, Brian Blosil, whom she was married to from 1986 to 2007, Osmond had two children, Rachael and Matthew, and adopted five others -- Jessica, Michael, Brandon, Brianna and Abigail.
