Boise, IDAHO (KBOI) — You can’t use your hands in soccer, except for the goalie.
But Boise State’s women’s soccer team is using them – legally.
Every player and coach has a unique one with every other teammate and coach.
“You do it every training session and you do it every game so the first week is a little rough,” said head coach Jim Thomas.
It’s a team bonding exercise, and it must be paying off.
“Everyone is my best friend on this team,” said junior McKenna Kynett.
The Broncos are 13-3-2 and have clinched at least a share of the Mountain West regular season title.
Boise State can earn the outright title with a tie or win against Utah State on Friday at 4 p.m. at the Boas Soccer Complex.
