Are you a bargain hunter who craves a discounted gourmet multi-course feast at one of Wailea’s top restaurants?

Then pick up your smart phone or jump online to www.opentable.com and make reservations for the bi-annual Restaurant Week Wailea. As usual, Maui Food Bank is the beneficiary.

This time around, South Maui’s hugely popular and twice yearly Restaurant Week Wailea promotion may be savored at 20 participating resort businesses starting on Sunday through Nov. 10.

Wailea Resort is world-renowned for its award-winning culinary talent, delectable foods and upscale ambience. Now you may enjoy remarkable multi-course menus from $29 to $59 per person (depending on the restaurant — beverages, tax and gratuity not included). Many of the managers enhance this promotion by creating intriguing wine pairings to savor with your meal at special discounted prices.

“As part of the resort’s community giving, all of the participating restaurants will make a contribution to the Maui Food Bank for every prix-fixe entree sold during Restaurant Week Wailea,” says Bud Pikrone, general manager of Wailea Community Association. “Timing is ideal as the holidays approach and Restaurant Week Wailea once again looks forward to helping the Maui Food Bank during this time of need.”

As an example in the $29 multi-course meal, Fabiani’s Wailea under Head Chef Oscar Vergara will do crab-stuffed mushrooms, insalata or Italian shrimp bisque as the first course, followed by chicken linguine picatta, Pierino’s four-cheese ravioli or pizza del Giorno with dessert choices of tiramisu or chocolate-raspberry entremet.

Other meals for $29 may be enjoyed at Manolis Pizza Co. and Mulligans on the Blue. For $49 per meal, go to Ama Bar & Grill, Gannon’s, Humble Market Kitchin, Lineage, Longhi’s Wailea, Monkeypod Kitchen, Matteo’s Osteria, Pita Paradise Bistro Wailea, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Tommy Bahama. Meals for $59 are at Humuhumunukunukuapua’a, DUO, Ka’ana Kitchen, Ko, Morimoto Maui, Nick’s Fish Market and The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea.

• For RWW reservations: Call each participating restaurant separately or book online at www.opentable.com.
