NFL odds, lines, point spreads: Updated Week 17 betting information for picking every game

July 2024 ยท 4 minute read

The NFL regular season is winding down, with only 32 games left in the final two weeks. Following a strong ATS run from favorites in Week 15, underdogs barked back in Week 16, sporting a 9-6-1 ATS mark relative to Caesars Sportsbook's closing lines. Leading into Sunday night's Broncos-Patriots matchup, favorites and underdogs had a 6-6-1 ATS record, but four consecutive covers from the underdogs to finish the week pushed them over the top.

Week 17 kicks off with the Browns and Jets on TNF, leading into an action-packed 14-game Sunday slate to close out 2023. Saturday night's standalone showdown between the Cowboys and Lions will draw plenty of betting action, as well as Sunday's duels between the Ravens and Dolphins, and Bengals and Chiefs. While the other games on the Week 17 slate may not be as high profile, playoff implications add an extra layer of intrigue.

Below, we'll look at the latest odds for Week 17 from Caesars Sportsbook and offer up a couple of early bets to consider. Keep in mind these lines will move throughout the week as we get updates on the playing status of key starters and betting limits increase.

NFL best bets for Week 17

*Odds and analysis as of Tuesday 12/26*

Texans -3.5 (-110) vs. Titans

We think C.J. Stroud should be back under center assuming he clears concussion protocol by Sunday, making the Texans an appealing bet at a relatively short price. Ryan Tannehill did nothing special in his spot start last week, and with Will Levis' status up in the air because of an ankle injury, we'll bet on the better offense at home and lay the point.

Giants +6 (-110) vs. Rams

This one's not for the faint-hearted. We'll take the six points and back the Tyrod Taylor-led Giants to capitalize on the momentum built up in the second half of Monday's loss to the Eagles, playing another tightly contested game against the Rams. This line looks slightly inflated due to Los Angeles' recent hot stretch.
