D&D 5E - Can you use Vortex Wrap to put an enemy in a pool of water.

You are using an out of date browser. It may not display this or other websites correctly.
You should upgrade or use an alternative browser. So the spell Vortex Wrap says:

the target is teleported to an unoccupied space of your choice that you can see within range. The chosen space must be on a surface or in a liquid that can support the target without the target having to squeeze.

The part I am struggling with is the underlined. Does this have to be a liquid someone could stand up on or is any liquid ok as long as they can swim or whatever (as in the water is supporting the swimmer).

in a liquid that can support the target without the target having to squeeze.

I read it so the part about having to squeeze is more important. I can put you in a swimming pool or a lake, but not a jar of pickles or a diamond that I put a drop of water into the middle somehow.

I feel like it means you can drop them in a swimming pool, but not a bucket.
