Recently the news about Anna Weyant and Larry Gagosian has circulated in the media. She has been dating Gagosian for a year, and last month, following a contentious commercial breakup with Blum & Poe dealer Tim Blum, she inked a worldwide representation arrangement with renowned dealer Gagosian Galleries.

Gagosian has told the media that he is just trying to protect his girlfriend from getting scammed by the big bad wolves from the industry. He cares about his girlfriend and believes she is capable of much more than she already has achieved.

The painting "Falling Woman," which Weyant claims she sold for $15,000 last year roughly half of what his gallery was charging buyers for other paintings in her spring show in 2021, appears to be at the center of her dispute with her former dealer Blum. 

The picture was submitted to Sotheby's for sale as demand for Weyant's work increased, and at the end of last month, it brought in $1.6 million, setting a record for her work.

Although dealers often don't sell off the works of their artists, Blum hasn't broken any regulations. When the piece of art was sent to Tony's auction business, it's unclear if he was still serving as Weyant's representative.

However, she has learned from her mistakes now and is moving forward.
